Obituary for Delphine Lane (Ingram)
Delphine Ingram Lane, 80, of Athens, died Saturday evening, April 13, 2019 at Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens,
She was a native of Donalsonville, Georgia and was the daughter of the late George B. and Susie McMullen Ingram. She was also preceded in death by brothers, James, Junior, Lamar, Bill, Denver, Robert and John Ingram.
She was an active member of the Athens Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William Ernest (Bill) Lane of Athens; one brother, Timothy Gwin Ingram of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted 7:00 pm, Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Rev. David Reynolds and Rev. David Spann officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at funeral home prior to the service. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 am, Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
